Can I get a limited license or work permit following a Florida drunk driving conviction?

It’s going to depend on whether or not this is your first DUI or if you have prior DUI’s. If it’s your first DUI and you have completed the DUI school the answer is yes, you can get a work permit following a DUI conviction. That permit is going to last as long as the DUI suspension is on your record. Now, if you have a prior DUI then you are not entitled to a work permit but I always tell clients to go to the DMV and check with them as to when they would be eligible for a work permit if they have a prior DUI conviction.
