Is it always necessary to file a lawsuit after a Florida car accident?

It's not always necessary to file a lawsuit. In fact, our firm handles a lot of our cases, what we call, through pre-suit litigation. What that means is, as you are involved in a car accident and you are treating with a doctor, you are going to physical therapy, you are handling other matters of your life, we are working behind the scenes to collect all your medical bills, to make sure that everything is handled accordingly. We will talk to the adjuster and see if it's possible for us to resolve your case pre-suit. Keep in mind that most contingency fee agreements, if a lawsuit is filed, the contingency portion for the attorney does go up. It's our job as your attorney to make sure you're compensated as much as possible.
