If I was hit by a commercial vehicle in a Florida car accident is the employer of the other driver also responsible?

It's quite possible that the employer may be responsible for the accident that took place. There are a lot of factors that you have to look into. Number one would be, “Did that employer know about the driver of the vehicle, of their driving history?” There's also other factors such as, “Did they tell the driver to do anything or direct the driver to do anything that may be unsafe?” Those are just some of the factors that you would look at to try to determine if you can hold the employer liable.
