Who has a duty to report suspected child neglect and abuse in Florida?

Any person who knows or has reason to know that a child has been neglected has a duty to report it under Florida law. In Florida there are over 40 specific professionals that are mentioned in the Florida statute that have a duty to report it and that could lead to a person being charged with a felony. That includes teachers, doctors, or other type of caregivers that would need to report it immediately.
