Do I have a right to an attorney when I am stopped by an officer and asked to take a field sobriety test in Florida?

Generally speaking, the answer to that is no. You’re not entitled to an attorney during a DUI investigation. However, I always tell my clients, friends, and loved ones never to talk to the officer or submit to any field sobriety exercises or tests without first consulting with an attorney.
