Do I have to have lights on my bicycle?
The answer to that is found under Florida Statute 316.2065. If you are operating a bicycle between the hours of sunset to sunrise, the answer is yes, you are required to have on the front of your bike a white light that is visible from at least 500 feet and on the rear of the bike you are required to have a red reflector and a red light that is visible from at least 600 feet.
