What kinds of acts are considered domestic violence in Florida?

In Florida, the determination of domestic violence is quite broad. It can go from pushing, shoving, throwing water on somebody, spitting on somebody, to punching them, hitting them with a bat or anything like that, running them down with a car. All of those things, under the law, are considered to be domestic violence. Some areas that people think are domestic violence, which are horrible things to do but are not considered to be necessarily domestic violence in and of themselves, are emotional violence or yelling, being vulgar, being rude to the person. Those are not covered under a domestic violence injunction or any kind of domestic violence.
