Can I get a DUI when I am taking prescription medication?

Yes, you can get a DUI if you're taking prescription medication, even if that medication is prescribed by a doctor, and you're taking it in accordance with the dosage that you've been directed to do so. The fact is that medication still may be affecting your normal faculties, and it may still pose a danger to yourself or others on the road.
