Yet being involved in the protection of our clients' civil rights for collectively over 25 years, we understand that there is much work to be done to clarify, expand, and strengthen the family law rights to which gay couples and parents are currently entitled in the State of Florida. Butash Law Group advocates for same-sex couples and parents and understands that in addition to the problems and stresses that heterosexual people endure in family law cases, members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community (“LGBT”) face additional issues that often present obstacles to their pursuit of equity and justice.
