Are same sex partners eligible for family abuse protective orders?

Yes, same sex partners are eligible for family abuse protective orders in the State of Florida, otherwise known as domestic violence injunctions. Domestic violence injunctions are there to protect one party from an imminent threat of harm from another party who has an intimate relationship with them, regardless of that party sex or sexual orientation.
