For over 20 years Timothy S. Owens has represented the people of Florida in their time of need.
Tim Owens was born and raised in Southport, North Carolina and later graduated from the University of New Mexico with a double major in Psychology and Communication. After graduation Tim moved to the Tampa Bay area to attend Stetson University College of Law where he graduated in the Fall of 2000.
Upon graduation, Mr. Owens accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney for the 6th Judicial Circuit which encompasses Pinellas and Pasco County. While working as a prosecutor Tim was lead counsel in over 100 jury trials and conducted countless depositions and motion hearings. This experience continues to pay dividends in all areas of his practice.
Shortly after leaving the State’s Attorney office, Mr. Owens formed The Owens Law Firm, PA in Tampa, Florida and began to practice criminal defense. Over the following 17 years his firm expanded into other areas of law and gave Mr. Owens invaluable experience in a wide area of practice areas including:
