In a collaborative divorce in Florida, will I still go to court?

Collaborative divorce is designed around not going to court. The parties meet outside of court and they reach an agreement outside of court. However, once the agreement is reached, at least one party does have to go to court to what’s called an uncontested final hearing which is a very quick court hearing where the judge looks overall the documents and signs off and officially divorces the parties. Only one party has to be present at an uncontested final hearing who’s the petitioner, but the respondent is welcome to attend if they would like.
