You should obtain the other driver’s information such as their name, address, telephone number, and other contact information. Also, try and get a copy of their insurance card if you can, and/or their driver’s license. Snap a photograph of it if you can with your phone. Also, get any witnesses’ names, numbers and their contact information too. It’s really important that you get this information at that time so that everything is available for when you sit down with your attorney to go over your case.
